Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst will be working directly with the International Operations Organization (including Regional/Country Heads, Plan/Build/Run, Business Relationship Manager, PMO, Finance, IT Leadership).

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Manage, develop, and maintain operational reporting for the International Operations team. Support the usage and analysis of these reports and how it aligns with performance metrics and goals.
  • Coordinate and follow-up of on key initiatives, activities, deliverables within international teams at Manager and Director levels.
  • Coach, train, and mentor International teams on global process such as Portfolio and Demand Management, Resource and Capacity Management and Finance Management.

Core Job Responsibilities

The core job responsibilities are as follows:

  • Review, monitor and confirm Power BI Dataflow runs daily
  • Ensure Power BI Data refresh runs daily/weekly
  • Update report metrics based on operation feedback and efficiency
  • Review integrations between Power BI and ensuring SharePoint is being uploaded correctly
  • Review and monitor SharePoint workflows
  • Manage country and regional reporting and follow-up on late entries
  • Coach/Mentor on how to analyze report with outcomes and actions
  • Monitor new hire reporting and metrics and follow-up on late entries
  • Manage Application Inventory (HOPEX) change requests
  • Communicate and train effectively on new PMO Process (including Demand Management & Resource Capacity Planning)
  • Stays current with industry advancements and direction of reporting and Microsoft Tools
  • Analytical thinking, to leveraging knowledge of data to provide outcomes
  • Communicates effectively, both formally and informally
  • Facilitates collaboration between stakeholders who have diverse objectives.
  • Assure compliance with Abbott policies related to Solution Life Cycle (SLC) and System Quality Assurance (SQA) standards and SOX compliance

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

Required

  • Bachelors Degree in IT and/or complimentary business degree or equivalent experience
  • 1+ years of experience in IT, preferably in the health care industry
  • Experience in Power BI / Power Automate
  • Advanced reporting in Microsoft Tools
  • Proficient in SharePoint workflows and administration
  • Process analysis / Analytical Thinking
  • Process Redesign / Improvements
  • Financial Knowledge in Reporting / Consolidation / Plan / Actuals
  • Ability to work directly with Senior Management
  • Problem determination (experience in root cause analysis) and problem resolution skills
  • Exposure to project management
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to senior leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to assess stakeholder needs, creatively approach solutions, decide and influence appropriate courses of action

Preferred

  • Lean Six Sigma knowledge desirable
  • International / Diverse cultural experience is a plus
