My Pharmaceutical client is actively seeking aBusiness Data Analystfor their North Chicago headquarters.

This position is currently remote but will return to the office when approved

Requirements for the Business Data Analyst

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience to demonstrate technical equivalencyyears of business analysis preferred
• 2+ years of experience developing and generating reports and process flows to maximize efficiency

Responsibilities for the Business Data Analyst

• Determines approach and solutions to problems when issue is within scope of own ability.
• Applies analytical thinking skills to diagnose and make recommendations on system and, or work process flows. Incorporates knowledge of business and technology to make recommendations. Translates data gathered from user discussions into business requirements. Identifies business/system needs and recommends solutions. Assists with the testing strategies and develops preliminary findings.
• Partners with Project Management, core business teams to create project documents, project plans, implementation timeline and success criteria.
• Partners with business to analyze processes and needs and makes recommendations that are most effective means to satisfy those needs. Analyses the most complex work procedures and job methods and presents concepts to simplify those procedures.
• Work is performed and technical decisions are made with a clear partnership with SMEs in the business. As a result, a strong understanding of the business is required.
• Works effectively with team/group to accomplish organizational goals. Actively participates in client or team meetings by offering suggestions. Provides leadership to project planning.
• Monitors and organizes the efforts of technical and business support staff. Manages projects according to milestones and completes tasks assigned by more experienced analysts and managers. Guides the efforts of less experienced staff.
