-This is a 100% remote role and you can work anywhere in the US. -
We are a Unicorn startup company looking to bring on Engineering Managers to join our fast-growing team. We are an established, nation-wide startup company that advances in the internet/e-commerce space. We just received 1Billion in series funding and need Senior Engineering Managers to hit the ground running. We are wanting hands-on Agnostic type candidates that are looking to grow within our company. We offer great work perks and excellent compensation packages. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for building solutions/teams and experience building out scalable web applications. Our ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience as a hands-on technical manager. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, and Business partners.

You Will
- Innovate, scale, and manage the development of key database systems
- Lead a team of engineers to build our infrastructure/software systems
- Partner with product management and business to develop scope, features and timeline for development solutions
- Recruit top talent engineers
- Build, deploy, and maintain your own code
- Experience with Product Life Cycle
Must Have
- 8+ Years engineering experience as a Hands-On Software Engineer
- 2+ years of experience in a Manager or Lead role overseeing a team of developers
- Modern JavaScript frameworks; technologies
- Experience with front/backend technologies
- In-depth and hands on knowledge of data structures, algorithms and modern web and/or cloud technologies
- Experience leading technical discussions including evaluation and design of technical solutions
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science (or related field)
- Azure or AWS
- Start-up environments or early stage companies
