THE IMPACT YOU CAN HAVE: The Senior Inventory Analyst will work closely with their Merchant and Planning partners to align inventory strategies with the company's product and financial goals. They will drive the business forward through process improvement and consistent re-evaluation of strategies. CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete post-mortem analysis on key events analyzing forecast accuracy in relationship to residual inventory implications Establish a leadership role amongst the team Actively participate in weekly cross-functional team meetings Develop strong partnerships with peers by sharing best practices and maintaining regular, open communication Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders across functions to achieve business objectives and drive strategic change Ability to present information and interact effectively across all levels of the organization Drive towards maintaining or exceeding KPI goals inclusive of driving sales, margin, and inventory turn and in-stocks Provide analytics/insights to support business decisions Establish and Maintain Vendor Relationships ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Complete on-going training and development courses supported by the HR Training Team or the Merchandise Operations Training Team. On-boarding of new hires & counterparts THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCCESS: Minimum 2 - 4 years working in retail or related environment. Forecast and Replenishment system experience required. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and with a cross functional team Active participant in a cross functional or departmental project, demonstrating engagement & leadership skills Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong listening skills Critical thinker, able to interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders and influence with data Ability to make sound, informed decisions particularly under time pressure and in ad hoc situations. Demonstrate strong influential & negotiation skills Overtime and weekends as needed. Leadership Experience Preferred Ability and willingness to Coach, Mentor, and Onboard Lead by example with a positive attitude & ability to embrace/maneuver through change Excellent organizational skills with a strong eye for detail, and capable of multi-tasking Willingness to adopt new processes and be a change advocate. Strong Microsoft Office skills with solid proficiency in usage of Excel. Working knowledge of SAP or JDA a plus. Ability to work with large amounts of data into trends and develop accurate and actionable insights based on the data Process improvement champion Strong problem solving, retail math, and analytical skills Highly motivated individual with strong initiative and positive attitude Strong work ethic, ability to meet tight deadlines/thrive in fast-pace environment Professionalism and confidentiality required both internally & externally Aspirations to develop & grow within Ulta Follows principles & values to do the right thing Ability to embrace/maneuver change with a positive attitude COLORADO PAY RANGE At this time, Colorado residents are not eligible for this position.
