What's the role?

We are looking for a Patent Agent to join the Patent Team within our Legal Department. You will closely collaborate with other patent professionals, i.e. attorneys, agents, specialists, and work with our inventors, product owners and managers to define, qualify and support HERE in obtaining patents. You also will touch base with different regions aligning patent protection in all locations where HERE is active. Your primary responsibilities will be:

• Prepare and file new patent applications for inventions by HERE inventors
• Prosecute office action responses and providing detailed guidance to our associates for the preparation of responses to office actions
• Conduct inventor interviews
• Prepare patent claims aligned with products

In addition, you will be working with the rest of the Patent team on projects engage HERE as proactively grow our patent portfolio to reflect our current business and the directions we see it growing.

Who are you?

• You have a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering
• You're Qualified/Registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office, the European Patent Office or any other patent office
• You have at least 3 years of experience in patent operations ideally in the tech field
• You are curious, a fast learner and organized
