Job Description
Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for leading preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics and repair of the building and material handling systems in support of on-going Fulfillment/Distribution Center operations. The Maintenance Technician 2 will develop plans on how to accomplish departmental and distribution goals.

Responsibilities:
*Troubleshoot, maintain and repair all aspects of building maintenance, material handling systems & conveyors. (PLC, allen-bradley, etc.)
*Diagnose, using test equipment, electrical and electronic control systems and other related equipment, devices or components.
*Advanced understanding of schematics, plans and blue prints.
*Ability to maintain, and troubleshoot basic power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting systems, transformers, and wiring methods and materials.
*Ability to, maintain, and troubleshoot basic relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components-- photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders.
*Knowledge of lock out tag out procedures.
*Knowledge of working w/ 3 phase 480V & 277V distribution panels & switchgears, using arc flash protection.
*Willingness & ability to train & develop maintenance technician 1's.
*Maintain accuracy of facility and equipment systems documentation using CMMS.
*Demonstrate safe work practices that comply with Occupational Safety and Health Standards ensuring safety of personnel and safe operation of equipment.
*Must be able to work individually effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision and collaborate with co-workers to meet building and department goals.
*Openness to try new ideas and raise questions/issues in a constructive manner by finding creative solutions when faced with obstacles.
*Operate equipment: scissor and boom lifts, hand tools, and energy management equipment to perform system support tasks as required.
*Must have a working knowledge of how equipment is to operate.
*General repairs throughout the facility as needed.
*Ability to be flexible with work schedule.

*2-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of automated material handling equipment and associated I/O devices.
*Advanced knowledge of operation and repair of material handling equipment.
*Advanced knowledge of power tools, pneumatic, or hydraulic tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
*Capable of getting manlift & forklift certification
*Knowledge of working with computers using Microsoft Office and CMMS programs.
*High school diploma or equivalent

Shifts- 3rd shift. Set hours will be arranged after training and can differ per department.
Will be working front half (Sunday- Wednesday) OR back half (Wednesday- Saturday) must be flexible to both schedules.
*Training is 2-6 weeks and will include safety and CPR certifications, could require travel
*Training is typically on day shift but can vary
