Job Responsibilities:

Lead introductory outbound Welcome Calls to promote the features and benefits of the clean energy program

Provide education about paid tier benefits and features

Sell the program to inbound callers and sign them up

Explain program features and assist customers with opting out of energy sense events if desired.

Retain existing customers by assisting with billing inquiries, energy usage optimization, and by helping them reach program milestones (reduce churn)

Assist with general inquiries regarding the Google Nest product suite and how they work best together based on the customer need/lifestyle

Coordinate technical troubleshooting of Google Nest products with Tier 2 agents, as needed

Answer customer questions about how to migrate a Nest account to log in with Google and how it will impact their thermostat, app, and free tier product experience.

Identify and communicate issues that require fixes, program enhancements and new feature requests from customers (Voice of the customer)

Answer customer billing questions and inquiries

Coordinate with Energy companies as needed for outage or service disconnection issues and transfer to Electric company for cancellation of service

24/7 scheduling flexibility (Please ask recruiter for more details)

Minimum Qualifications:

2+ years of customer service in a contact center environment (phone, chat, and email channels)

Experience with sales and subscription models

Interest in clean energy and the environment

Preferred qualifications:

Fluent in Spanish

Knowledge of utility/energy industry and HVAC systems

Knowledge of social media and community channels

Interpersonal Skills:

Act as a Google brand ambassador during customer interactions

"Can-Do" attitude, eager to engage with the customers

Superior time management, prioritization and attention to details

Excellent listening, verbal, written, and organization skills

Ability to de-escalate and handle difficult conversations with poise
