Job Description
Sr Talent Advisor - HUM000618 The Sr. Talent Advisor has enterprise-wide responsibility for executing all aspects of full life cycle recruitment for professional and/ or technical positions. The Sr. Talent Advisor plays a critical role in executing and providing insights on enterprise-wide talent strategies while providing strategic guidance to influence hiring leader decisions. This role is responsible for delivering qualified diverse talent pipelines, cultivating internal and external partnerships, enhancing U.S. Cellular's Employment Brand within t he communities we serve. The Sr. Talent Advisor is responsible for aligning to the specific talent needs of the business by collaborating across functional groups to proactively recognize the changing talent needs and contribute to workforce plannin g within the business to ensure the delivery of needed talent. The Sr. Talent Advisor will drive the execution of strategy set forth by Talent Programs to deepen our relationship with Military, Campus, Diversity, and Professional organizations to enhance employment brand awareness and attract talent. This position will lead the collaboration between US Cellular and 3rd party vendor(s) to identify and hire high quality talent. Provides strategic guidance, advisable actions, and education to influence hiring leaders decisions based on market intelligence, best practices and changing business needs with talent implications. Recommends advisable actions that take into account cost-benefit analysis, market intelligence, internal insights, talent acquisition metrics, best practices, to be incorporated into enterprise wide talent acquisition strategy Provides subject matter expertise and strategic guidance to Talent Advisors, Talent Specialists and support staff on best practices related to recruitment process Collaborate across functional groups to proactively recognize the changing talent needs, contribute to workforce planning, and Human Capital planning discussions within the business Collaborate with HR Business partner community and Talent Programs to develop and execute upon holistic talent strategy to meet the needs of the business Collaborate with 3rd party vendors and set direction to maintain highly qualified diverse talent pipelines Drive the execution of strategy set forth by Talent Programs to deepen our relationship with Military, Campus, Diversity, and Professional organizations to build employment brand awareness and attract talent Participate in process improvement initiatives to ensure that process, tools, and technology are consistent with delivering t he ideal candidate experience while increasing the overall effectiveness of the talent acquisition efforts. Cultivate relationships with external partners to deepen our relationship with Military, Campus, Diversity, and Professional organizations to build employment brand awareness to attract talent Delivers and facilitates education to hiring leaders around talent selection practices, talent programs, Recommends advisable actions that take into account cost-benefit analysis, market intelligence, internal insights, talent acquisition metrics, best practices, to be incorporated into enterprise wide talent acquisition strategy Manage the full lifecycle recruitment process for complex professional and/ or technical positions and care for the candidate experience Provide offer and salary recommendations based on internal equity and market conditions Maintain record keeping in applicant tracking system to ensure compliance Lead and participate projects to meet department and company initiatives and expectations Bachelor degree in related discipline or equivalent experience required; Master's degree preferred 6+ years of recruiting/sourcing experience Knowledgeable of recruiting techniques, recruitment plan development, sourcing methods and compensation strategies to attract talent across the enterprise Demonstrated success in identifying, qualifying and hiring qualified talent to business needs Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional groups to influence and drive decision making Possess excellent communication skills, with demonstrated experience providing consultation and education to technical leaders across the enterprise, as well as external candidates and vendors Experience in collaborating with 3rd party vendors is required Easily adaptable to a fast-paced ever-changing environment, along with excellent problem solving and time management skills Working knowledge and experience with EEO and employment laws is required Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking and staffing systems is required, Taleo preferred Ability to travel to client locations required (approximately 25%) Experience in corporate relocation programs and immigration is preferred AIRS, PHR/SPHR certification is preferred Experience in project management and designing effective hiring processes to meet changing technology and business needs is required.
