Job Description

Position Summary:

The Data Analyst will perform analysis, reporting and projects for the Data Management Organization (DMO). The Data Analyst analyze master data for inconsistencies and anomalies, assist with the Master Data day-to-day activities and execute projects driving Master Data integrity.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:

  • Completes a variety of preventative maintenance tasks on customer master, item master, and other identified data domains to drive data accuracy and maintain a high integrity of Master Data.
  • Performs Ad-hoc master data analysis and assist with special projects addressing Master Data improvements.
  • Performs analyses on Master Data, addresses data discrepancies, and updates missing information in the database when applicable.
  • Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to identify issues driven from master data and correct accordingly.
  • Assist other team members and supervisor with producing and analyzing various reports.
  • Assist team members within the Master Data in day-to-day activities.
  • Develop, publish and maintain weekly, monthly and quarterly DMO reports and KPI's.
  • Participate in team activities, including department meetings.
  • Works under general supervision using independent judgment to complete required tasks.
  • Supports with cross-functional projects that implement master data structures that support business functionalities and reporting.
  • Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • One plus years of experience with Master Data Management or Information Technology.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to interact with team members at all levels of the company
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects at one time
  • Able to meet deadlines and deal with pressures associated with those deadlines
  • Expert level in Microsoft Excel, proficient in balance of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to apply logical and critical thinking skills to various situations at the same time
  • Excellent quantitative skills
  • This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Experience working in a distribution/manufacturing environment
  • Experience with SAP Systems
