Job Description

True Value Company, a global wholesaler serving retail locations in 60 countries, has an immediate need for a Customer Support Specialist. You will play a meaningful role in providing unrivaled full service responses to customers, field teams/sales and to all other inquiries. Effectively handles and resolves inquiries aroundMerchandising, Inventory, Advertising, Customer growth, and various other True Value products andprograms.

Position Description

Answer inbound calls using good listening skills, determine the issues/information required by the caller and document the inquiry into the CRM system. Resolve and deliver solutions and if necessary, forward the call to the appropriate True Value area. Monitor systems to ensure that all inquiries are resolved within 24 hours or less.

Respond to member, field staff, sales, websites (truevalue.com, truevaluerental.com), consumers, and other emails, effectively handling complex inquiries.

Analyze departmental reports and identify problem areas. Work and communicate with various department managers to help determine solutions and possible new procedures for areas of concern. Relay customer feedback to appropriate departments.

Remain current on all new and existing programs and departmental information to effectively guide and educate customers on True Value.

Order management - manage, review, place, or edit various types of orders. Research invoicing and claims issues.

Organize and maintain information for True Value departments, programs, and vendor information in the CRM system, into an understandable format, such that co-workers/associates can use this information to resolve customer issues and inquiries.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Type and Years of Related Experience Required:

  • One to three years of related experience required
  • Strong client servicing skills, attention to detail, strong time management and project management skills are required
  • Retail/Wholesale experience a plus
Minimum Education Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience
