The Opportunity

1st and 3rd shift positions available! Primary duties include providing safe and timely electrical support, preventative maintenance, installation, service, repair, troubleshooting and resolution of multiple operating machines within a manufacturing industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have mechanical and electrical experience, a familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics and have basic troubleshooting experience with proven ability of machine repair.

  • Provide rapid response to ensure seamless productivity.
What You Need To Succeed
  • A basic understanding of Preventative Maintenance programs
  • A strong understanding of Lockout / Tagout processes
  • Demonstrate the ability to consistently work in a safe and productive manner
  • Demonstrate the ability to execute a preventative maintenance checklist
  • Knowledge / experience with basic mechanical components & concepts:
  • Gearing & Gearboxes
  • Bearings (sealed and unsealed)
  • Drive Shafts
  • Couplings
  • Sprockets
  • Chains
  • Lubrication Systems / Greasing Programs
  • A basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Working knowledge of power transmission equipment.
  • Familiar with pumps, both pneumatic and electric.
  • Ability to understand the operation of the various sensors and limit switches
i.e. Proximity Sensors / Photo-eyes / Reed Switches
  • Familiar with computers:
  • Microsoft Office Programs
  • CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a mature and professional manner.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, overtime
  • Basic welding and fabrication skills are desired but not required
