American Portfolio Mortgage Company is looking for Closing/Funding Manager for our growing organization. This position is located in the Chicagoland area only. Full benefits including 401k, COMPANY PAID medical, dental, vision and disability insurance.

A few of the job responsibilities are:

• lead and mentor a team of 3+ Closers tasked to prepare closing packages using Encompass system and review signed closing packages for funding approval.
• Manage closing pipeline by daily assigning of loans to individual closers.
• Manage upload of data and documents to warehouse banking systems on a daily basis for fundings.

Qualified candidates will possess:

• *1-2 years of mortgage-related experience.
• 2-4 years loan closing and funding experience.
• Extensive knowledge of loan documentation.

• Familiar with reading and interpreting insurance policies, tax information, prelim CDs, appraisals, and settlement statements.
• Knowledge of MDIA, RESPA, REG Z, and all general TRID disclosure.
• Knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, and USDA requirements
