Job Description

Overview

This position provides analytical support to operational leadership focusing on financial modeling, budgeting and forecasting of existing assets. This position interfaces primarily investors, lenders and senior leadership. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

Essential Functions

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management, employees and outside contacts.
  • Financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting of existing assets.
  • Develop process for internal reporting for measuring community performance along with senior leadership team.
  • Manage monthly and quarterly financial review process for assigned operating division and review on a continual basis.
  • Provide financial support to communities and regional teams within operating division.
  • Prepare financial packages.
  • Actively participate in the creation of annual business plans and operating budgets.
  • Interface with investors, lenders and senior leadership team.
  • Create and present analysis and results.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all pertinent information.
  • Possess strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Level of Formal Education: Bachelor's Degree

Area of Study: Finance, real estate, or accounting

Years of Experience: Entry-level (0-3 years); Mid-level (3-5)

Type of Experience: Seniors Housing or Healthcare Industry preferred, but not required

Language Skills: Read, write, speak, and understand English language

Technical Competencies: Microsoft office experience (Hyperion experience a plus)

Skills and Ability:

  • Possess strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Interact professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization, including community staff, residents, family members, and investors.
  • Knowledge of real estate, underwriting, valuation, legal documentation, purchases/sales, and property operations.

Information Systems: Yardi, Hyperion and other related management software

Personal Attributes: exceptional communication both written and verbal, team player

Other/ Preferred:

  • Moderate travel required.
