Machine OperatorJob Summary:

To perform tasks necessary to deliver orders from inventory, pack, verify, label shipments and assist the operators on the extrusion line from raw material input to finished product. Must be willing to work 12 hour shift.

Machine OperatorJob Duties:

• Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouse
• Follows company's quality standards and safety policies
• Reports unsafe working conditions
• Counts, weighs, measures, or examines packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications
• Completes necessary paperwork, packing slips, pallet lists
• Moves material to designated areas with forklift
• Able to read and understand Metric and standard tape measure
• Assist with machine set-up, films and resins, color concentrates and/or additives, production speeds (input or output), start and stop functions, change over, down times, die and screw tear down, screen pack, line specific tools and proper lock out/tag out procedures
• Assist operators to maintain extruded product to required gauge, length, width, bond strength, and color, dyne, maintaining surface finish or identifying surface defects and performing quality control tests required.

Machine OperatorJob Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three years of experience preferred
• Forklift Certification a plus
• Ability to work at a fast pace
• Ability to multi task and read production tickets
• Ability to perform math calculations including fractions
• Must be able to read tape measure, including micrometers
• Must be computer literate
• Must be dedicated to continuous improvement
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stretch, or stand for extended periods of time

$18.00-18.50: 6am-6pm/ 12 hr AM shifts M-F with one day off during the week
