Job Description
Do you have experience working with machines, in packing or both? Are you looking for a new position that will allow you to develop your skills and grow? Do you do your best work when you are hands on? We are currently hiring Machine Operator Helpers to help out with production related tasks in forward thinking company with room for advancement. Responsibilities Scheduling process to assemble specific films for shift's production run. Understands the packaging equipment being used and how to adjust controls. Performs film changes Documents shift's production output Identifies packaging defects output for defects Performs regular quality checks Alerts supervisors to concerns about quality standards or to opportunities for quality improvements. Performs daily pre-shift inspection of machinery and document inspection Works with Maintenance Department on preventative maintenance and protection of equipment. Cleans work area daily. The essential functions of this role include: working in a smoke free environment wearing steel toe shoes working in a non-temperature controlled environment manual lifting up to 50lbs working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week Skills Moving Material Carrying Standing Pulling Pushing Typing Skills Material Handling Lifting Education High School Qualifications Years of experience: 0 years Experience level:Entry Level Shift: Second Working hours: 4:30 PM - 3 AM Randstad is a world leader in matching great people with great companies.
