What You Will Be Doing
Review new loans and condition submissions to analyze credit, asset statements and income documents to calculate debt to income ratios, funds required for closing and reserve requirement.
Review all documentation obtained and ensure that it corresponds directly to the loan or product type chosen by the borrower.
Request and review documentation in the file to meet agency guidelines, along with any Investor specific overlays for each loan product.
Process applications from time of receipt of application to submission of the loan package to underwriting.
Gather, organize and track loan documentation.
Work with lenders, applicants, underwriters, appraisal department and others to complete processing.
What You Need for this Position
At least 5 years experience of processing in the mortgage industry is required
Experience in processing Conforming, Jumbo and FHA loans
Thorough knowledge of federal and state regulations and requirements with emphasis on MDA, TILA and RESPA reform
Tactfulness and proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential situations
Experience In Encompass Is Preferred
