Position:

Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Development & Investor Relations, this person will be a key member of the team responsible for assisting in merger and acquisition activities. This critical role will be responsible forplanning and supporting all aspects of the company's business development initiatives.Specific responsibilities will includeanalyzing potential acquisition opportunities, conduct due diligence, support deal process, and assist the deal team in structuring and negotiating transactions. This person will work closely with the acquisition team as well as business unit leadership to keep the team up to date on industry and acquisition trends.This is an excellent opportunity to learn the business/operations with significant upward career mobility outside thecorporate developmentfunction.The company seeks a high-potential financial professional who is a self-starter and enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Candidate:

  • BS in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant financial investor relations experience with exposure to sophisticated publicly traded companies.
  • M&A experience from either a corporate environment, investment banking, or M&A consulting firm a plus.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Possesses a strong entrepreneurial and strategic spirit, coupled with a hands-on, detail-orientedmentality.
  • Must have stellar verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with proven ability to lead and partner well with teams while developing internal client relationships.
  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results orientation.Strong business and common sense.
