Material Handler/Crane Operator

Our client in Chicago Heights is seeking a material handler/ crane operator. This steel company has been the number one Steel company since 1966. They are known for providing top customer service, and prompt delivery. This company provides full live structural service center, and they stock wide flange beams, standard I-beams, bar channel, shims, and many more steel materials.

Shift 2nd

4pm-12:30am- M-F

Pay: $18-$22 DOE

Duties

As a material handler/ crane operator you will be responsible for lifting and moving materials around the warehouse as safely and efficiently as possible. As a crane driver you'd need to be practically minded, with an understanding of how to drive and maintain heavy machinery. This position does require remote/wireless dual hoist experience. Please also being mindful that this is a steel mill and whatever temperature it is outside, it is 10-15 degrees hotter or colder inside due to the steel retaining the temperature of the environment.
