Description:

The Department of Psychology in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences at the University of Illinois Chicago seeks to fill a tenure-track faculty position in Clinical Psychology to begin August, 2022. The successful candidate will have a promising program of research, will contribute to teaching and student success at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and will demonstrate competency in incorporating principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion in the research and teaching contexts. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a research focus on psychopathology; health promotion and intervention; or dissemination and implementation science. However, all areas of research excellence will be considered. Given the department's commitment to training students from historically underrepresented backgrounds, as well as UIC's emphasis on serving the surrounding communities, we strongly encourage applications from candidates whose work incorporates and/or benefits populations that are traditionally underserved or understudied in Psychology.

Duties:

Salary is competitive, research conditions are excellent, and there are extensive opportunities for collaboration on campus and at universities and medical institutions in the Chicago metropolitan area. Qualifications:

Candidates must have a Ph.D. by the time of their appointment and have completed an APA-approved internship and demonstrate scholarly productivity and the potential for obtaining external funding.
