This position provides opportunity for a diverse career path and longevity with an industry leading telecommunications company.Join Ledcor Technical Services today!Essential ResponsibilitiesSafe and efficient operation of excavators, backhoes, trenchers, dozers, cable plows, etc.Provide light maintenance and routine service to equipmentOperates equipment, hand tools and lifts heavy items (up to 50 pounds)Reads underground utility locates and ensures safe digging practices are always being adhered toMaintains a healthy and safe work environment for the crew, the public, the customer, and LedcorWorks as a part of an overhead telecom line crew and assists with restoring job sites back to their original stateQualifications5+ years of experience in Heavy Equipment operationMust possess a valid driver's CDL license. Valid Class A CDL with documented past experience is requiredMust successfully complete a criminal background check, pre-access drug and alcohol screeningsExperience with safely operating a variety of large and small power equipment, light vehicles and properly tow/back-up trailersExperience in Telecommunications Construction heavily favoredWorking knowledge of health, safety and environmental protection practices and proceduresAble to perform work on uneven surfacesAbility to communicate clearly and collaborate with multiple project stakeholders, interpret stakeholders' needs, and identify solutionsAdditional Information:Company DescriptionLedcor Technical Services (LTS) designs, builds, and maintains wireline or wireless networks that span North America and beyond.
