Job Description
Printpack U.S. is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Pricing Analyst I or II located in Atlanta, GA. The position will report to Patrick Boyle, Commercial Director. This position requires a college degree and 5 + years or job-related work experience.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee and execute developed/outlined strategies for assigned market segments and customers.
  • Lead the coordination and execution of customer RFP's. Analyze the opportunity and product mix with Sales for strategic "fit" and collaborate with Manufacturing and Operations Planning to estimate accurate run assumptions & costs to determined estimated profitability at competitive price levels required.
  • Communicate and collaborate with MM & CDAs to ensure all business is priced according to pricing assumptions and customer agreements, to ensure our estimated profitability levels are achieved.
  • Audit orders to ensure the correct pricing is being applied to orders.
  • "Close the Loop" on all price proposals to document the result and competitive actions and pricing. Plot market / competitive pricing in our competitive pricing data-base.
  • Monitor profitability of market segments and customers under your responsibility and work with Sales, Manufacturing and Operations Planning to implement pricing actions to improve as appropriate.
  • Compare actual account, structure and item profitability (and trends) to initial pricing and profitability estimates - identify variables driving the discrepancies.
  • Update all customer pricing for raw material changes per customer agreements in a timely manner.
  • Provide timely price requests and bid packages from CDAs and Sales.
  • Manage customer contracts to ensure all business terms and agreements are met.
  • Lead special projects as they arise to support our market and/or customer strategies and commercial objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proficient in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and familiarity with Printpack systems
  • Interest and ability to work with numbers
  • Detail-oriented and conscientious of data accuracy
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with internal customers and teams
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to self-direct and make sound decisions independently
