What will I be doing?

This role falls under the Retail Solutions Inc (RSI), Supply Chain Center of Excellence. The Applications Consultant is an integral part of a global Professional Services team focused on development and delivery of value-based reporting services to our clients. The position can be remote is US or Europe, but needs several hours overlap with US CST. Flexibility in qualifications may be given if an applicant is exceptional in reporting design and development.

Job Responsibilities

• As a member of an agile team, responsibilities include:
• Owning requirements gathering with internal and external customers
• Estimating complex reporting and application projects
• Building & validating reports/applications particularly in Power BI, MS Excel (VBA), IRI's proprietary Unify platform, and any other visualization tool that RSi should utilize
• Identifying and understanding business problems of retailer and supplier customers in areas like sales, supply chain, and category management
• Completing data validation of reports/applications to ensure accuracy of data
• Actively participating in daily/weekly meetings
• Hitting deadlines for report development
• As a Applications Consultant, candidate must demonstrate proven experience creating measurable business value for manufacturers and / or retailers.

Requirements

• BS degree ideally in Mathematics, Business, Engineering or Computer Science
• 3+ years of related experience in an analytics or technical role, preferably working with or for a CPG company or Retailer

• Proficient capability in Excel Functions, VBA, automation techniques and building for scale

• Working knowledge of Agile methodologies
• Fluent spoken and written english
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize changing objectives and work with minimal supervision
• Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects
• High degree of honesty and integrity
