LOCATION: On site at one of the Major Range Test Facility Bases (MRTFB)

INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION:

The Test Resource Management Center's (TRMC) Science, Technology, Engineering and Math Internship Program consists of work assignments designed to acclimate interns to the fundamentals and concepts of Test and Evaluation within the Department of Defense (DoD). The TRMC oversees the National Test and Evaluation Infrastructure for the Department of Defense. The TRMC ensures the test & evaluation infrastructure is adequately resourced to support the development, acquisition, and sustainment of defense systems. The TRMC also manages the development of test technologies for the Department of Defense.

The TRMC contracted with Broadleaf, Inc. to find the most qualified students from around the country to fill these limited internship slots.

While applying your knowledge, you will broaden your skills and gain valuable experience as you are exposed to test and evaluation in real world settings.

When you participate in the TRMC Internship Program, you will:

  • Gain hands-on experience working on a test & evaluation related project
  • Work directly with other engineers and professionals in a team environment
  • Develop your skills under the guidance of professional and experienced mentors on site and have full corporate support for the duration of the internship
  • Use our internship program as a gateway to networking and exploring job opportunities within the Department of Defense
  • Obtain a security clearance
  • Be provided travel and lodging for interns over 50 miles away from Range

EXPECTATIONS:

  • Working towards a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math project-based internship learning more about Department of Defense test and evaluation needs, resources, and capabilities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

To qualify for the intern position, you must be:

  • A current full-time enrolled college student (sophomores, juniors, seniors or graduate students)
  • Majoring in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics discipline
  • Must be eligible for employment in the United States
  • Available for the entire duration June 5 - August 12, 2023

CLEARANCE LEVEL:

  • *Must be able to obtain a DoD SECRET
