Job Description

Position Summary

The Analyst, Service Delivery will support Invenergy in facilitating the identification and delivery of IT infrastructure and IT business services for existing and new generation sites and businesses. In this role, you will work with a cross functional team consisting of business stakeholders, IT staff (IT Infrastructure, Service Desk, Information Security, and IT Business Administration) as well as 3rd party customers to design, build, and improve Invenergy Technology implementations at generation facilities. The individual will actively contribute to the success of the overall IT Service Delivery program to enable alignment of business needs with IT capabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Collecting feedback on satisfaction with key IT services
  • Ability to create deliverable including architecture and technical design drawings
  • Contribute to the development of the strategic vision and continuous improvement roadmap that optimizes architecture and system performance consistent with the strategy of the business
  • Assist IT leadership with developing long-term technology roadmap, resource plans, and budgets
  • Ensure proper implementation of global standards, policies and systems platforms
  • Promotes the IT organization's capabilities and works to strengthen the business value of the IT organization
  • Establish and provide high-quality, informative written and verbal project communications, including status, dashboards and Service Delivery project updates
  • Thrive in a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continual improvement

Qualifications
  • 5+ years' overall IT experience with significant experience in global, enterprise corporate IT
  • 3+ years' experience with energy generation, distributed control systems, or similar industries
  • Knowledgeable in IT project management, tracking, reporting, and risk/issue mitigation
  • Knowledge of varying architecture methodologies, with demonstrated ability to select and apply the appropriate method to the problem at-hand.
  • Grasp of current and emerging technologies and trends, with ability to rapidly assess and apply new and emerging technologies
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a project team
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent background or experience
