R&D Chemist III

Our Chemical Manufacturing client has a level three R&D Chemist position available in the Chicago area.

SUMMARY

Advanced level Chemist role requiring advanced R&D laboratory experience.

Conducts extensive research, analysis, and experimentation on substances to resolve quality problems, improve the marketability or profitability of current products, and develop new products with minimal supervision.

A high degree of creativity and latitude is required. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

B.S. in Chemistry from an accredited institution.

This is an advanced-level role with 4-10 years of related experience, preferably in an industrial chemical environment.

A Master's degree in Chemistry or related science is preferred but not required.
