Job Description Summary

Adjunct Faculty will teach classes in the Department of Sociology, on an as needed basis

Responsibilities

Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University’s Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.

-Teach one or more classes in either face-to-face, hybrid, or online formats
-Availability to hold office hours and meet with other faculty members and department chair when necessary
-Serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching-learning environment.

Minimum Qualifications

Masters degree in Sociology or related discipline. Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience teaching courses in social inequalities, race and ethnicity, social class, or gender. Online teaching certification.
