About the Role:

Seerist is looking for a Software Developer Intern to join our Software Development team in the US for our 9-week paid summer internship

program. This is a great opportunity to build long lasting connections and gain real-world experience in a professional setting as we

provide mentorship throughout the program. The goal is to provide various learning experiences, and you will have the opportunity to

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Product and Tech Leads in proposing solutions to solving customer problems
  • Work in an Agile software environment delivering solutions and assisting in Code Reviews
  • Assist in discovery sessions aimed at solving tough problems and translating solutions into software
  • Utilize TDD / XP best practices
  • Clearly and concisely communicate work status, methods, instructions, problems, requirements, options, and concerns with team members and managers
  • Meet with internship coordinator on progress and learning experience in preparation for presentation to leadership
  • Assist with other duties/special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer Science or related fields
  • Experience or familiarity in building Web Applications, building cloud native REST based microservice APIs, building DevOps pipelines, cloud-based technologies (AWS preferred)
  • Coding experience or familiarity with several languages such as Node, JavaScript, Vue, Python, Java
  • Knowledge of Agile methodology and TDD/XP practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on product development
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams and communicating with different levels of team members and customers
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team
