We have an exciting opportunity available for an R&D Summer Intern at our high profile Minneapolis, MN location within our Industrials North America Business.
Our summer internship program is scheduled to run May 22, 2023 - August 11, 2023.

Our paid internship offers a well-rounded experience including: meaningful work, dedicated intern manager, community service, professional development and more.


Responsibilities:

  1. Works with Development Engineer to commercialize new products from internally driven requests and new business development requests.
  2. Responsible for execution of new product trials and related experimental work, including evaluating and reporting results.
  3. Works with other technicians and production personal as needed during new product trials.
  4. Learns and performs test methods per standards and develops new test methods as projects dictate.
  5. Learns extrusion process.
  6. Performs competitive testing on samples.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Working towards a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related Engineering field.
Previous internship or work experience preferred, but not required.

* Good verbal and written communication skills are a must.

* Detail oriented

* Problem-solving and decision making capabilities

* Ability to work both independently and collaborate with a teamwork environment

* Desire to make a strong contribution in a continuous learning environment, while enhancing readiness for a full-time career
