| Job Summary | Elmhurst University, an equal opportunity employer committed to equity and inclusion, seeks part-time faculty to join our vibrant professional teaching and learning community in First-Year Writing during Fall term 2023. All first-year writing courses meet in person in computer-assisted writing labs. Enrollment in first-year writing courses is generally capped at 18 students. |
| Essential Functions | Responsibilities include teaching 1 to 3 sections of Composition I and/or II, including in-person instruction and regular assessment of student learning outcomes. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching. Responsibilities for this adjunct faculty position include course preparation including syllabus development, teaching, grading and being available to students who have questions or require extra help. |
