Job Description Summary
Lewis University’s Department of Music seeks an Adjunct Voice Instructor who specializes in contemporary/popular music performance beginning January 2024.  The instructor will teach applied voice to majors and non-majors and actively engage in recruiting. Salary is competitive to other adjunct positions in area, and additional classroom teaching opportunities may become available.

Responsibilities
Model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University’s Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
  • Teach one or more classes.
  • Availability to hold office hours and meet with other faculty members and department chairs or directors when necessary.
  • Serve as a model of professionalism and act as a resource for students within the teaching-learning environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Masters degree or significant professional experience is required. Professional performances, and college teaching experience preferred. Strong commitment to teaching and recruitment.  All voice types are encouraged to apply.
