Required Years of Experience: 4+ years of land/land administration of related experience.

Required Education: Associates Degree in Business, Legal Studies (or related area)

Position Objective: The Division Order Analyst is responsible for researching and analyzing legal documentation to set up and maintain division of interests for the life of a well and to ensure proper and timely payments to owners.
|
Essential Duties:
- Review title documents, lease agreements and other legal documents to calculate and set-up division of interest for new wells
- Process ownership changes based on review of conveyance documents (including Assignments Deeds, Wills, Affidavits or Heirship, Trusts, and Court Orders)
- Respond to inquiries, requests, and correspondence from royalty owners
- Research suspense account issues
- Effectively communicate with other departments including, Lease and Land Records, Contracts, Accounting, Land, Title, and Legal
- Special projects as determined by Supervisor/Manager

Required / Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Minimum Education: Associates Degree in Business, Legal Studies (or related area)
- Preferred Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience analyzing title opinions and conveyance documents.
- Familiar with Estate laws and associated legal documents.
- Detail oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Must be able to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of oil and gas software accounting systems (Enertia preferred).
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.
- Experience in the Appalachian Basin preferred.
