Compensation Analyst

Summary

This position reports to the Sr Manager of Analytics and Compensation and is responsible for analyzing and monitoring employee compensation as well as various other analytics including, but not limited to diversity.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administer annual Firm salary review processes and Firm bonus calculations as necessary, including non-US office salary processes;
  • Manage compensation survey participation and vendor relationships;
  • Creating ad hoc compensation and diversity reports from the PeopleSoft Human Resources system;
  • Monitoring and documenting compensation programs, including but not limited to online market data;
  • Reconciling compensation information between the Firm's payroll systems and PeopleSoft Human Resources system;
  • Creating compensation budget information;
  • Completing analysis for special compensation and/or analytics related projects;
  • Proposing and implementing innovative business solutions and other business improvements with regard to compensation;
  • Completing heavy special project work, including responsibility for the design, management and implementation of compensation initiatives.

Education and/or Experience: 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Ability to analyze technical solutions and propose sound conclusions to a variety of insurance, accounting and other financial issues
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word
  • Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Excel  

Preferred:

  • Four years of experience in Human Resources, compensation or related area
  • CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) from World at Work organization
