These positions are open to all current city employees covered under the terms of the City's collective bargaining agreement with LABORERS INTERNATIONAL UNION OF NORTH AMERICA LOCAL 1001 (BARGAINING UNIT 54). Only employees in City job titles in this bargaining unit are eligible to bid on this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Address: 940 W. Exchange
Hours: Various shifts Monday - Saturday
THIS POSITION IS IN THE CAREER SERVICE.
Minimum Qualifications
* Willingness and ability to perform the duties of the job.
* A valid State of Illinois driver's license is required.
NOTE: You must provide your valid U.S. driver's license at time of processing.
Working Conditions
* Exposure to outdoor weather conditions
* Exposure to loud noise, fumes or dust, oily or wet environment
Physical requirements
* Lifting and carrying (up to 50 pounds) is required
* Ability to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time
* Ability to operate applicable hand tools and power equipment
Selection Requirement
This position is willing and able. Applicants who successfully apply for the position will be selected in seniority order.
