Position Description:

Purpose

To carry out, under supervision, the development and testing of a new device that will apply small movements to a treadmill.  This position is a limited term summer assignment.

Primary Functions

  • Work as a member of a design/development team in the Integrative Neural Engineering and Rehabilitation Laboratory.
  • Develop hardware and software components.
  • Liaise with other researchers on project progress.
  • Provide reports of analysis and investigations
  • Participate in meetings with principle investigator and research staff and evaluate/interpret the validity of data as needed.

Position Requirements:

Knowledge – Skills – Abilities

Knowledge of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, documentation, and records management.

Familiarity with electromechanical systems; Matlab or other programming experience; critical thinking; communications skills.
