Position Description:
Purpose
To carry out, under supervision, the development and testing of a new device that will apply small movements to a treadmill. This position is a limited term summer assignment.
Primary Functions
- Work as a member of a design/development team in the Integrative Neural Engineering and Rehabilitation Laboratory.
- Develop hardware and software components.
- Liaise with other researchers on project progress.
- Provide reports of analysis and investigations
- Participate in meetings with principle investigator and research staff and evaluate/interpret the validity of data as needed.

Knowledge – Skills – Abilities
Knowledge of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, documentation, and records management.
Familiarity with electromechanical systems; Matlab or other programming experience; critical thinking; communications skills.
