Your Responsibilities as an Assistant Project Manager/Project Manager:

  • Prepare due diligence (ASTM Phase I) reports and mentor staff through due diligence projects.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Mentor staff through the collection of soil, water, and/or air samples utilizing different sampling techniques.
  • Prepare Connecticut-specific regulatory reports regarding the Property Transfer Program, environmental site assessments, and assist LEP-lead projects through the Remediation Standard Regulations.
  • Assistance with the preparation of proposals and scopes of work
  • Actively develop your own career growth with opportunities to assist with field and reporting tasks.
  • Work directly with staff and management-level team members with field and reporting responsibilities.

What we're looking for:
  • BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, Engineering or other related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience with environmental field sampling, data collection, and due diligence report preparation.
  • Prefer candidates with Licensed Environmental Professional (LEP) or Licensed Site Professional (LSP) license obtained or on track to obtain.
  • Experience with Connecticut-specific Property Transfer Program and Remediation Standard Regulations related projects.
  • The ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification preferred.
  • Light construction experience/hands-on skills a plus.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving history and reliable transportation are required.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
