JOB LOCATION: Early Education Center
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Providing a wide range of Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced level administrative duties and general clerical support for divisions/departments.
Administrative Assistant I
PRIMARY DUTIES:

This position is responsible for providing a wide range of administrative and support duties that would require a Basic Entry level skill set consistent with the education and years of experience indicated in the qualifications below. A sampling of the type of duties that may be assigned include but are not limited to the following:
- Provide back-up for other support positions. E
- Reception duties such as answering phones, greeting, and directing guest, making phone calls, monitoring e-mail, etc.
- Maintain tracking reports and data using Excel and other software. E
- Maintain various files and databases. E
- Perform all mail related and various clerical and administrative support duties. E
- Maintain supplies and monitor equipment. E
- Coordinate, schedule, and physically set up for meetings and special events. NE
- Establish and maintain good communication, collaboration, and cooperation with all clients, parents, co-workers, vendors, etc. E
- Attend meetings and professional development activities. NE
- Be a great ambassador representing the division, department, and the agency. E
- Perform other related duties, as assigned. NE

REPORTS TO: Director of Early Education
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Work is generally performed in an office setting. Some infrequent local travel.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· High School or GED from an accredited school.
· One (1) year experience working in an administrative/clerical support position.
· Bilingual (Spanish and English), oral and written. (Highly desirable)
· Neat orderly person with great organizational skills.
· Must be a “People Person” with a great disposition and outlook on life, who enjoys working with others, is upbeat and pleasant to work with and is a good listener.
· Basic knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office suite.
· Must be willing and able to work flexible hours as needed.
· Excellent communication and documentation skills, written and verbal
