Our History 

In 1928 Fred H. Sasser started a refrigerated rail service business in a small Chicago railyard. More than 95 years later, we're a successful, fourth-generation family of rail, automotive, and aviation businesses that continues to grow.

What does that mean for you?  Among our subsidiaries, you'd be joining a team that operates in one of several industries, including rail (Chicago Freight Car, CF Rail Services); automotive (Union Leasing, Express 4X4 Truck Rental); or aviation (Xced).  Each company shares the common goal of helping our customers' businesses run more efficiently.  
 

At the holding company (Sasser), you'd be joining a Strategic Services team (e.g., Finance, IT, Human Resources, Corporate Communications & Branding), that provides guidance and partnership, as well as strategic & tactical support to our subsidiaries.
