Edward “Scott” Mills erves as the Director of the State of Minnesota for the U.S. Department of Labor, Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS). Scott began his career with VETS in April 2012 after a long and distinguished 26-year career in the U.S. Army. He served in numerous leadership positions and retired as a Command Sergeant Major in January 2012. His awards include: the Bronze Star, Legion of Merit, Meritorious Service Medals, Army Commendation Medals, Army Achievement Medals, Overseas Service Medals, Iraq Campaign Ribbons, and various other awards.
