Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION
This position requires servers to serve food, drinks and bottle service to guests in the upstairs lounge at Rockit Bar & Grill. Must have full night and weekend availability. Use hospitality and graciousness in dealing with guests. Perform duties in a pleasant, conscientious, fun, energetic and professional manner to ensure guest satisfaction. Must have Food Handlers & be BASSET certified, or be willing to complete coursework to become certified within the given timeframe.
POSITION EXPECTATIONS
- Provide guests with exceptional service
- Oversee table maintenance, coordinate service at the table with bussers and runners
- Must book 2 tables a week
- Monitor the amount of alcohol served, so that guests do not become overly intoxicated
- Communicate the needs of the guests to kitchen and management as needed
- Assist bussers in keeping server station supplied in silverware, glassware, share plates, etc
- Have full knowledge of table numbers and corresponding seat numbers to ensure orders are given to the appropriate people
- Must be able to efficiently navigate through crowds and be comfortable working in a dimly lit, loud space
- Perform assigned side work as needed
