Job Description

Location: Libertyville
Department: Operations

Contribute to Hollister’s growth, profitability, and continuity by supporting work and projects to sustain and improve Hollister’s products and processes. Support project teams qualifying changes to product materials, manufacturing processes and product design. Support Hollister global operations and departmental continuous improvement objectives through business process optimization work.

Responsibilities:

  • Apply basic knowledge under supervision, on concepts, principles and technical capabilities for projects of limited scope and complexity
  • Support cross-functional projects for changes to existing products
  • Establish and manage engineering project schedules
  • Develop and qualify changes to the product and the manufacturing process through engineering protocols, laboratory and in-process testing, and engineering reports
  • Write and coordinate technical documentation, including protocols, reports, procedures, specifications, work instructions, and original data as need to support project work

Requirements:

  • Overall years of experience: 0-2 in engineering work environment
  • Junior, Senior, or graduate student in relevant engineering discipline
  • Fluent in English
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiar with basic PC and Microsoft applications

Preferred Experience:

  • Technical writing
  • Design of experiment
  • Familiar with industry ISO standards and/or Regulatory requirements
  • Familiar with MyQUMAS, SAP, Minitab, Microsoft Project
