Adobe's Global Marketing & Strategy (GMS) Team is the steward for one of the world's most recognizable and beloved brands, recognized as one of the top ten 'Marketers of the Year' in 2020 by Ad Age.

The Executive Communications lead for Adobe's Chief People Officer (CPO) is responsible for the strategy and execution of the CPO's internal and external communications platform. This role is critical in building and driving a coordinated communications strategy across messaging platforms.

There's no doubt that 2020 changed the nature of employee relations and communications. The company and the world is in a transformational time. And the CPO is at the nexus and has a critical role to play in shaping this transformation. As our company grows and we enter the future of work the communications platform of our CPO is integral to our business.

What you'll do
  • Partner with the Sr Director to craft and drive a coordinated external and internal executive comms strategy
  • Develop an engagement cadence, drafting key messages and innovating with creative programs
  • Drive content creation, including speech writing and slide development for internal and external events
  • Write companywide messages on cultural moments, social issues and business achievements related to COVID-19 management, future of work and more
  • Build an external communications platform aligned to key messaging pillars; partner with corporate PR on key messages and preparation for media opportunities
  • Create and execute a social media strategy to engage core audiences
  • Write bylines to advance thought leadership platform on forward-looking topics
  • Support customer engagements with content creation and briefings
  • Serve as thought partner on strategy and execution of key organizational change initiatives by the CPO
Requirements
  • Ideally 7+ years of communications experience; preference for experience in the software/technology industry
  • BA/BS degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or a related field
  • Exceptional written and oral communications skills
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Deep understanding of new media channels and experience with multimedia storytelling
  • Deep understanding and passion for employee communications and where it's going as a field
  • Demonstrated experience providing executive communications and strong executive presence
  • Demonstrated strength in working collaboratively with and across a variety of global, cross-functional teams
  • Excellent creative and critical thinking
  • Proven ability to handle multiple, competing priorities in a dynamic environment
