Job Description

JOB TITLE: Talent Acquisition Assistant

REPORTS TO: Talent Acquisition Lead

EXEMPT/NON: EXEMPT

DIVISION: Human Resources

GENERAL DESCRIPTION - Summary

The Talent Acquisition Assistant is responsible for providing day to day technical and administrative support to the TA and HR team.Key focus areas will be in recruitment, pre-employment and Onboarding.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

*Assist with the pre-employment process and monthly On Boarding

*Administer personality assessments

*Initiate background check process

*Create open requisitions postings internally and externally

*Process employee referral bonus and other payroll related requests

*File employee documents into EPIC files

*Input Employee Handbook changes on quarterly/annual basis?

*Register for all recruitment events and assist in maintaining on campus schedules

*Attend career fairs and recruiting events that support the company's recruitment efforts including all campus recruiting events

*Input necessary information into LMS for new hires and employee changes

*Monitor LMS inbox

*Work with legal department to coordinate new hire licensing

*Process HR Related Vendor invoices to Accounting

*Serve as a backup for HRIS employee changes Assist with running ad-hoc reports from HRIS system as requested

  • Assist with New hire routing slip process
  • Other duties as assigned


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR or Business
  • Extremely Tech Savvy
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong commitment to client service and confidentiality
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi task and keep up in a fast paced environment
  • Highly detail oriented
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable

Ability to:

*Perform work on a computer for extended periods of time

*Sit/stand for extended periods of time in work area

*Communicate and speak in a clear, concise and professional manner both in person and on the telephone.

*Travel by air or ground transportation as required in performing job duties.

*Be able to lift and carry objects that weigh a minimum of 40 pounds
