Field Service Technician will work onsite at customer sites throughout the US to identify and solve problems associated with packaging or processing equipment. Responsibilities include the maintenance and repair of packaging and processing machinery including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and adjustments.

Responsibilites

• Troubleshoot, set-up and repair packaging and processing machinery from varying OEMs at the customer site.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance of installed equipment.
• Advise and train the customer on the use and maintenance of the machines.
• Identify and correct machine discrepancies
• Work from engineering drawings and specifications, detailed written and/or verbal instructions, handbooks, manuals, etc.
• Prepare trip reports that update the company as to the status and condition of installed equipment conditions and identifies additional equipment/parts opportunities

Qualifications

• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time
• At least 3 years of experience and/or training in packaging or processing machine repair and maintenance
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repair techniques for industrial equipment
