Job Description
Position Overview:
Molex is seeking a dynamic and proactive Marketing Manager to play a key role in the development of marketing strategy and lead all marketing activities for our Printed Circuit Solutions group. This role analyzes market trends, develops brand positioning & develops and implements targeted programs to drive revenue growth.

Essential Functions:
  • Leads all marketing activities for Printed Circuit Solutions
  • Supports development of overall marketing strategy for the business unit, including identification, development and execution of targeted programs to drive revenue growth
  • Scans market to identify and analyze industry trends and technology advancements; identifies opportunities to drive innovation
  • Analyzes the competitive market to identify new threats and opportunities; provides recommendations based on fact-based research and business case development
  • Supports development of programs to drive customer segment (vertical market) strategies
  • Develops strong content to drive thought leadership activities
  • Develops and articulates brand positioning and competitive differentiation to guide communications activities with corporate Marketing/Communications department
  • Develops and executes lead generation programs from beginning to end-including ideation, strategic development, program management, and tracking to capture ROI and determine campaign effectiveness
  • Contributes to annual marketing planning and budgeting
  • Provides expert understanding and application of marketing concepts, methods and tools

Candidate must be highly motivated, very focused, and comfortable with operating in a process-driven environment with strong reporting matrixes.

Position Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing or marketing support
  • Experience in marketing or marketing support for an engineered product
  • 15% - 20% travel required

In order to comply with U.S. export control laws and regulations, this position requires applicants to either provide proof of U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent resident status or be eligible to receive an export authorization (a license) under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience or education in the field of electronics or engineering
  • Experience in marketing electronic solutions in a B2B environment is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills; proficient in developing compelling business cases, including financial justifications
  • Strong customer focus; ability to develop customer specific value propositions
  • Strong program / project management skills with excellent communications skills
  • Big-picture vision, and the drive to make that vision a reality; highly creative
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously with competing deadlines
