This position will be as a SAW technology development intern in the technology and manufacturing group (TMG), located at Skyworks' Irvine CA location. TMG focuses on process, simulation and design efforts to support Skyworks acoustic filter development. The acoustic filters are enabling components for Skyworks' high-volume front-end radio modules for cellular handset applications.
The intern's responsibilities could include but not be limited to the following:
* SAW Process development
* FEM simulation of 2D and 3D SAW devices.
* Refine and improve performance and reliability of acoustic resonators.
* Support PDK, model and ADS based simulation.

The candidate must be currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering (or related) Masters or Ph.D. program.
