WANTED: Experienced Principal Director (PD) Technical SupportProject Manager with demonstrated experience in Research, Engineering and development efforts for defense organizations.The work will be located in National Capital Region.

As a PD Technical Support Project Manager you will:

  • Lead a team of driven, supportive and highly skilled DOD research, engineering and development professionals to provide engineering and technicalsupport in 5G, Artificial Intelligence, Autonomy, Biotechnology, Cyber, Directed Energy,FNC3, Hypersonics, Microelectronics, Quantum Science, and Space.

A week in the life of aPD Technical Support Project Manager:

  • Act as the single point of contact to manage all programmatic matters of tasker order and managing the day-to-day operation of the task order.
  • Tracktask order efforts to rapidly identify and resolve potential and new problems.
  • Drive continuous improvement.

Job Requirements
  • Top Secret, SCI eligible Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or other related technical disciplines.
  • 15 years relevant experience in engineering, research and development effort for DoD organizations
  • Project Management experience
  • Experience in a supervisory capacity in planning, developing, and executing major research, engineering, and development efforts for defense organizations.
  • Experience in establishing strong working relationships with R&D program managers as well as organization leadership.
  • Experience identifying and resolving administrative and contractual issues related to a support services contract.
  • Demonstrated creativity, foresight, initiative, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving unprecedented problems.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience interfacing with Joint Staff, Services, and warfighters to coordinate engineering and analysis needs and analytic results is highly desired.
  • PMP Certification
  • Demonstrated effective communications skills with DoD leadership.
