Cardinal Intellectual property is actively seeking DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic technology team remotely with in the United States. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is looking for a long-term opportunity working in a fast pace environment using the latest technologies.
In your role as the DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for the implementation of tools and processes which enable rapid development and deployment of software. Your mission is to embrace continuous integration/deployment in a delivery pipeline that will perform automated quality checks, deploy on-premises, cloud infrastructure and applications quickly, and provide operational metrics that can be consumed by development teams.
This is a Full- Time 100% remote position. Open for C2C as well.
Streamline software development by implementation of a continuous integration and continuous deployment process
Build and manage software delivery, systems integration, and developer support tools
Setup and configure various configuration management, build, deployment and release tools
Monitoring operating efficiencies of existing application systems
Develop and configure automated code quality analysis
Define coding standards as well as develop and configure automated code quality analysis
Perform all common periodic Database Administration tasks, including managing database backups and recovery, managing database users and security, Database Server Administration, Event and System Monitoring, etc.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Minimum 5+ years of experience in building CI/CD pipelines with TeamCity or AzureDevops.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in AKS and other Microsoft Azure technologies.
Hands-on development experience and a DevOps understanding
.NET development background and scripting experience with PowerShell
Experience working in .NET framework/.NET CORE, Windows OS and Linux OS.
Excellent knowledge of Git and AzureDevops.
Proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.
Good understanding of network in both on-premises and Azure infrastructure.
Experience with build automation and confirmation management
Experience building and supporting an Agile DevOps environment to manage and scale multiple software products
Excellent trouble-shooting skills.
Knowledge of Nginx is a plus.
Bachelor’s Degree in technical field preferred or related work experience
