About the Position

The Reservationist intercepts pre-qualified customer calls and schedules transportation needs for customers. If you are helpful, friendly, and safety-conscious with a customer service background, apply today!

• Answers all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously
• Efficiently receives all ride request information from callers and repeats all information received to confirm the accuracy
• Records type of service/related information accurately on each ride request
• Establishes rapport and professional confidence level with passengers and is sensitive to passengers' needs
• Uses internal scheduling system
• Possesses knowledge of First Transit and "agency" policies and Procedures
• Efficiency is demonstrated by average telephone talk time
• Maintains an organized work environment

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Call center/customer service experience (preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills
• Good organizational skills and be detail-oriented
• Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to type 30+ wpm (preferred not required)
• Knowledge of service area, Panama City, FL (preferred not required)
