Job Summary:

Student workers will assist in the organization, installation, maintenance, and de-installation of art exhibitions on and off campus.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Effective organizational and communication skills are required. Minimal knowledge of Google Docs, Drive, and Sheets will be extremely helpful.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite software.

An interest in a visually creative work environment.

Willingness to speak to gallery visitors and inform them about the exhibitions.

Essential Duties:

1. Welcoming Gallery visitors

2. Handling Artwork

3. General cleaning duties

4. Moving gallery furniture

Other Duties:

Occasional painting of art pedestals, climbing ladders, perform design work when applicable, photographing exhibitions and events.

Physical Demands:

Medium (up to 50 lbs. occasionally or 30 lbs frequently or 10 lbs constantly)

Visual Acuity:

Close visual acuity (e.g. computer, assembly)

Work Environment:

Moderate noise
