Job Purpose:

Provides excellent customer service at all times whether via telephone, e-mail or in-person to customers, visitors, and employees. Maintain professional work environment. Monitor operators, and operator's schedules to ensure coverage, safety, service and on-time performance. Multi-Tasking is Essential. Assists passengers and drivers as necessary at AIRSIDE and CONRAC

Our Customer Service Assistants are responsible for:

  • Oversees on-road service by tracking trip performance measures, route began on time, performance, incidents, etc.
  • Provides customer support by responding to questions/concerns regarding schedules, lost items, timing, and general service challenges. Assists passengers in need, and with loading/unloading of baggage from the bus.
  • Assists in emergency situations for vehicle operators; act as liaison between drivers, management, and emergency services.
  • Assists daily service by reviewing route performance and proactively responding to situations that impact customer service
  • Reconcile physical passenger counts and electronic count from the bus systems if equipped.
  • On the Office Shift, perform pre-trip inspections of support vehicles and report findings to maintenance including fuel levels and mileage
  • On the Office Shift, answer radio and telephone inquiries, maintain key box, all vehicle keys, and log for keys.
  • Provide support to Operators with support and instruction for MDT's, two-way Radio and other tools used by employee's as needed.
  • On the Office Shift, ensure that drivers have all PPE prior to departure including COVID19 PPE.
  • Other duties as assigned by GM or Direct Supervisor

To qualify as a Customer Service Assistant, you'll need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid drivers license
  • Technical degree preferred
  • ADA knowledge
  • baggage handling
  • 2 years customer service experience
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal skills, email, and phone skills.
  • Problem solving skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
